Marcus DeLarge, Esq.
Marcus DeLarge Esq. was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a graduate of St. Augustine High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in Political Science with a minor in French in 2006. Marcus furthered his education by earning a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Southern University Law Center of Baton Rouge in 2011. Marcus is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Marcus served as a clerk with Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson, LLP where he became well versed in the area of Personal Injury defense. He was a distinguished member of the Student Bar Association and served as Vice President. During law school, Marcus was a vital part of the Criminal Law Clinic, where he served indigent defenders in the Baton Rouge area and gained trial experience with favorable results for his clients. Additionally, Marcus has worked with the law firm Sheuermann & Jones, LLC where he gained invaluable experience in the areas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury.
He began to pursue his passion for criminal law by serving as an Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish. Following his tenure with the District Attorney’s office, Marcus has become an experienced trial attorney in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury since founding Delarge Law. LLC. Marcus also works alongside the team at John T. Fuller & Associates, LLC.
Aside for his passion for law, Marcus is also a dedicated husband to his wife of nine years Angele DeLarge and loving father to their son Marcus II and daughter Mackenzie.
